July Favourites.

I know its a little late as August has already begun but I thought it would be nice to start doing a little monthly favourites, to share my thoughts and what I've really been into and enjoying lately.

One particular thing that I have really been into is my plants and gardening.  As a kid I always used to help out my dad and grandad, planting and picking the vegetables and recently have gotten into having plants of my own. It pretty much started when I went to the Columbia rd flower market and bought my first Cactus, from then on I get excited about the prospect of getting a new plant.

I think there is something nice about having plants around your home and or room.
I will admit that it's getting a little bit ridiculous, every time I go out I have pull myself away from any plant stands.

Anyway with this I have at the moment become very attracted to plant, leaf and flower related prints such as:

Alexander Vidal's Palm Grove.

Something else that I've been loving is home interiors. I've lately become obsessed with blogs and websites showcasing home and interiors and unique DIY ideas for making your own interiors and housing accessories for example; pillows, cushions, framed pictures, furniture eg. It sounds creepy but I love looking at the different ways people decorate their homes and little details, it just leaves me incredibly eager to have my own home and furnish it perfectly.

Lastly here are a couple of images I found on tumblr which I'm absolutely in love with, the simplicity and minimal colours, the vibrancy of the colours and the clean cut composition as well as them being very app-ed images for the ideal summer scene.
Sadly I'm not sure who these images are by as I found them on tumblr and didn't come with any links  but I'm so in love with them, if anyone happens to know and could fill me in that would be wonderful!

I hope you enjoyed this new idea,  let me know if you have any comments , criticism, anything that might help me make this better, it's always appreciated.
